This Thanksgiving, help your kids create a Gratitude Garland—a chain of thankfulness that grows day by day!
You’ll need:
Strips of colorful paper
Markers or crayons
Tape or a stapler
Each day leading up to Thanksgiving, have your child write one thing they’re grateful for on a strip—big or small. (“My puppy Pepper,” “Warm bread,” “Mom’s hugs.”)
Loop the strips together into a chain and hang it where the whole family can see it grow.
This visual reminder shows kids that gratitude multiplies when we express it.
In My Crumby World, Samantha Sourdough might call this “slow fermentation for the soul.” The longer you let it grow, the richer it becomes.
